A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide health room coverage within a K-12 school setting located in Deland, FL. This contract role is scheduled for the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and an end date of May 28th.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care and health services to students within the school health room
• Assess and monitor student health status, providing first aid and medication administration as needed
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with district health policies
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student wellness and safety
• Respond promptly to health emergencies within the school environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid LPN or LVN licensure
• Experience in a school nursing setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with children across K-12 grade levels
• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures, student health needs, and emergency response
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Deland, FL, serving schools district-wide
• 35 billable hours per week
