You'll play a critical role within a multiple disability classroom, supporting elementary studentssix last yearwith specialized needs, including G-tube care and seizure management. Qualifications and Experience:
- Active PA LPN license required
- Previous experience in a school environment or working with pediatric special needs preferred
- Proficiency in managing G-tube feedings and responding to seizures
- Ability to update and maintain student care plans accurately
- Strong initiative and willingness to assist wherever needed
- Professional demeanor; must refrain from personal phone use during shift
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver dedicated nursing care to students in a multiple disability classroom
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions, particularly those involving G-tube and seizure care
- Update individualized care plans in collaboration with teachers and other professionals
- Communicate health concerns promptly with school staff and families as appropriate
- Proactively assist within the classroom and support staff when time allows
- Maintain a safe, caring environment for all students assigned
