A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity is available at a high school setting in Cleveland, TN for the current school year contract. This role involves working onsite Monday through Friday, providing essential nursing support within a general group home or classroom environment. Depending on your expertise, you may also be assigned to students requiring specialized one-on-one care, including those with G-tube, seizure management, and ventilator/tracheostomy needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and support to students in a school setting
- Monitor and assist students with medical needs, such as G-tube feedings, seizure precautions, and ventilator/trach care
- Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure student well-being
- Maintain accurate healthcare documentation and comply with relevant policies
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license for the state of Tennessee
- Experience supporting pediatric or adolescent patients with diverse medical needs preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
