Multiple opportunities are available, including roles as a Health Room RN Supervisor, Health Room LPN Nurse, or for 1:1 nursing care caseloads. This contract position offers the chance to provide both routine and critical care, working in a setting where each day brings new rewards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee or independently run a school health clinic, addressing daily student healthcare needs
- Administer medications following prescribed protocols and policies
- Respond to health emergencies, triage students, and provide first aid as required
- Maintain accurate healthcare records, including immunization documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student health issues
- Monitor and support students with diabetes or other chronic health conditions
- Collaborate as part of a dedicated, supportive school nursing team
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida LPN License or RN ASN
- Previous pediatric experience is a plus, though not required
- Demonstrated ability to manage both independent tasks and work within a team
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Full-time, contract availability
