Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license
• Previous experience with pediatric or adolescent nursing; school setting preferred
• Familiarity with individual health plans and protocols for managing chronic conditions
• Ability to remain attentive, compassionate, and patient while supporting a 1:1 caseload
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with teachers, parents, and school personnel
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical clinical standard

Responsibilities and Expected Duties:

• Deliver daily nursing care to one student, including medication administration, monitoring, and emergency interventions
• Maintain accurate health documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
• Act as an advocate for the student's health and well-being during the school day
• Educate staff as needed on health management procedures relevant to the student's care
• Respond promptly to changes in the student's condition and manage incidents according to emergency procedures
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with the schools interdisciplinary team to support optimal student outcomes
