This full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity is based onsite at a high school setting in Chattanooga, TN. The role supports the health and well-being of students in a general group classroom or, depending on your skill set, may provide one-on-one care to students requiring specialized support such as G-tube feeding, seizure management, or ventilator/tracheostomy care. Assignments will be tailored to your experience and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students within the high school environment.
• Support general health needs and monitor student conditions during the school day.
• Deliver individualized nursing care, including technical procedures like G-tube feeding and respiratory support.
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to ensure comprehensive student care.
• Maintain clear and accurate health records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Tennessee.
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Ability to provide technical care for complex medical needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependability and the ability to work full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.
