This opportunity seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide specialized healthcare support in a K-12 school setting located in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves delivering direct, hands-on care to medically fragile students ranging from kindergarten through 21 years old, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day. This position is a per diem contract for the school calendar year and requires onsite presence with some responsibilities extending to bus support during mornings and afternoons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care to students with complex medical needs, including but not limited to medication administration, ambulatory assistance, seizure management, diabetic care, and G-tube maintenance.
• Support students during bus transportation in the morning and afternoon hours, overseeing their health and safety.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to create a safe and supportive environment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with state nursing standards and school health policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Experience or comfort working with children and young adults with medically fragile conditions.
• Ability to perform various clinical procedures in a school setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
