What youll bring:

  • Active Minnesota Department of Education School Nurse License (LPN/LVN)
  • Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Skilled in effective communication with parents, guardians, and educators
  • Ability to manage confidential student records and follow up on health referrals
  • Organized, reliable, and self-motivated with strong clinical judgment

Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care to a diverse student population
  • Follow up on health referrals and maintain accurate documentation
  • Liaise with parents/guardians and school personnel regarding health plans and student needs
  • Ensure compliance with all district and state-specific requirements
  • Support the safety and wellbeing of students in both individual and group settings

This role offers a manageable caseload and highly flexible weekly hourschoose full or part-time availability within 5-10 hours per week. Assignments run from June 1st through September 1st, making this an excellent fit for those seeking a summer contract.
