This contract opportunity is ideal for an LPN or RN (ASN) with a current Massachusetts license who is passionate about delivering quality care in a school setting. You'll provide dedicated support to a student in a classroom near Boston, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.
Key Qualifications:
- Active LPN or RN ASN license in the state of Massachusetts (MA)
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Comfort and confidence in providing care for a student with a tracheostomy (no interventions required while on duty)
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to collaborate effectively with school staff, students, and families
Role Details & Responsibilities:
- Part-time morning schedule, Monday through Friday (8:00 AM2:00 PM until June 23; July 6August 6, MondayThursday, 8:00 AM12:30 PM)
- Provide consistent, vigilant care and health monitoring for an assigned student in the classroom
- Work closely with district personnel and educational teams to ensure student health plans are followed
- Support general classroom safety and promote a positive, healthy learning environment
