A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting in Bethlehem, PA. This position offers a contract through the current school year, working primarily with diverse student needs including behavioral support, toileting assistance, and tracheostomy care. The role requires physical activity and the ability to manage safety during escalated situations effectively. Assignments may involve 1:1 student support or assisting within the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license.
• Experience with student health care in a school or similar setting preferred.
• Comfort with behaviors, toileting, and tracheostomy care.
• Ability to maintain safety during challenging situations.
• Physically capable of active work in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work 1:1 or classroom support as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including those with tracheostomies and behavioral needs.
• Monitor and ensure safety for students and self during behaviors or medical emergencies.
• Support toileting and personal care needs as required.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student well-being in 1:1 or classroom settings.
• Maintain accurate health records and report concerns appropriately.
