Job Description

A full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) position is available to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support within a school setting in Beaumont, CA. This role involves delivering specialized care to students requiring close medical assistance and ensuring their health and safety during educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing support to a student with complex medical needs.
  • Perform tracheostomy (trach) care, including monitoring and maintenance.
  • Support student transportation needs, including bus supervision.
  • Monitor and document student health status and report concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment that meets all healthcare protocols and school guidelines.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid LVN/LPN license with current certification.
  • Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred.
  • Proficient in trach care and managing specialized medical equipment.
  • Ability to provide compassionate and attentive 1:1 support.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Reliable and able to commit to a full-time contract position.
