This school-based position is located near Ashburn, VA, offering a unique 1:1 assignment supporting a student who requires attentive care related to seizure management. Youll work onsite only, following a consistent weekday schedule from 7:30am to 3:30pm, making an immediate difference in a supportive, collaborative school community.

What skills and background will set you up for success?

• Active LPN/LVN license and eligibility to practice in the state.
• Recent experience in a pediatric, school, or similar setting is preferred.
• Proven ability to monitor and respond to seizures, including administering rescue medication and appropriate first aid.
• Strong commitment to student safety, confidentiality, and dignity.
• Compassionate demeanor and comfort working closely in a 1:1 environment, including riding the bus with your assigned student as needed.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and the schools interdisciplinary care team.

Key responsibilities youll take on:

• Providing vigilant seizure monitoring and immediate, skilled intervention as needed throughout the school dayincluding bus rides.
• Administering medication and maintaining accurate documentation of all health care activities.
• Actively collaborating with educators, parents, and the Clinical Advisory Team to ensure seamless care and communication.
• Supporting the students overall well-being, encouraging independence, and promoting a positive school experience.
