Requirements & Desired Experience:
- Valid LPN/LVN licensure in Minnesota
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and their families
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent situations
- Organized and comfortable with maintaining medical records and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily health care and support to students with acute or chronic conditions
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Keep accurate and confidential health records for students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents on student health needs
- Promote health and wellness initiatives within the school community
- Ensure compliance with district, local, and state health regulations
