Qualifications and Experience:
- Active LPN/LVN license in Minnesota
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care for students with acute illness, injuries, or chronic conditions during school hours
- Administer medications and perform health procedures according to physicians orders
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation for students
- Educate students, staff, and families about health topics and disease prevention
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents on student health plans
- Ensure compliance with state and district health policies and procedures
- Support wellness initiatives and contribute to a positive school environment
