A school-based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available in Anoka, MN, serving K-12 students on a full-time, contract basis from ASAP through June 2, 2026. This role requires an experienced LPN with an active license to provide nursing care across various school settings.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct nursing care to students in the K-12 environment
- Managing health plans, administering medications, and responding to emergencies
- Collaborating with educators and staff to support student health needs
- Flexibly adapting to a variety of school locations and daily routines as a district float nurse
- Maintaining accurate health records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active LPN/LVN license at the time of application
- Previous school nursing experience is essential; new graduates will not be considered
- Ability to manage a dynamic work environment requiring daily flexibility and adaptability
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location:
- Anoka, Minnesota, covering multiple schools within the district as a float nurse
