A contracted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to support K-12 students within a school setting in Allentown, PA. This role requires an individual comfortable working in a dynamic and physically active environment, with responsibilities designed to maintain the safety and well-being of students, particularly during escalated situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to students, including toileting assistance and tracheostomy care.
• Manage and respond effectively to behavioral challenges, ensuring a safe environment for students and staff.
• Work in varied settings, including one-on-one student support (1:1) and classroom environments.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement health plans tailored to student needs.

Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure.
• Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings preferred.
• Ability to handle physical demands associated with the role.
• Skilled in managing behavioral issues and providing care for students requiring tracheostomy and toileting support.
