Step into a full-time teaching opportunity shaping middle school minds in science, working onsite for the 2026-2027 academic year. Youll work exclusively with general education students, with the possibility of collaborating alongside SPED teachers when required. This contract position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a stable schedule of 35 hours per week between 8:30 AM and 4 PM.

Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in general education teaching with the adaptability needed for the dynamic demands of a middle school science classroom. Your role will involve designing engaging lesson plans that adhere to current state and district guidelines, using ongoing assessment and instructional differentiation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certificate or license appropriate for the subject and grade level
• Bachelors degree (required for emergency teaching permit)
• Completion of all required PA state clearances prior to start
• Prior experience in a school setting, preferably urban environments
• Demonstrated mastery of science content and effective teaching strategies
• Strong behavioral and classroom management skills
• Reliable transportation for daily commute
• Availability for the entire contract period; workplace schedule cannot be modified

Responsibilities:
