What were seeking:

  • Active certification or licensure suited to a math 7th grade caseload
  • Proven experience in a school environment, ideally with middle school students
  • Bachelors degree (minimum requirement to qualify for an emergency teaching permit)
  • Familiarity with the latest instructional standards and best practices in math education
  • Strong classroom management and effective behavioral intervention skills
  • Commitment to differentiation, formative assessment, and culturally responsive teaching
  • Ability to provide a structured and supportive environment, particularly in urban settings
  • Dependable transportation for daily onsite attendance
  • Comfortable working within guidelines of the local district and community
  • Capable of working the full schedule, 8:00 AM3:15 PM, without accommodation
  • Completion of all Pennsylvania required school clearances

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to a diverse group of learners
  • Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance student outcomes
