Qualifications:

• Certified to teach General Education in Arizona (Gen Ed - IVP required)
• Experience or enthusiasm for teaching middle school students, ideally 6th grade
• Strong ability to develop engaging lessons spanning a variety of subjects
• Flexible and adaptive approach to diverse classroom needs
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver well-structured instruction across all core content areas to a 6th-grade classroom
• Develop lesson plans that engage students and accommodate different learning styles
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to district policies and procedures
