Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Wilson Level I Certification required
- Experience as a General Education Teacher, Reading Specialist, or related teaching position
- Strong understanding of reading disorders such as dyslexia
- Ability to develop and implement individualized reading interventions
- Collaborative skills for working with families, staff, and students
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Wilson reading interventions to students onsite
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Document and report on student growth and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with other educators, support personnel, and families to maximize student success
- Remain up-to-date on best practices for teaching reading and supporting students with dyslexia
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment focused on academic growth
