This full-time contract role runs from August 17 through May 27, 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on students during a key academic year.

What were looking for:

• Bachelors Degree in Education or a related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with relevant endorsement(s)
• Experience designing and delivering engaging curriculum
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture
• Commitment to onsite instruction and collaboration with colleagues

Primary responsibilities include:

• Delivering hands-on instruction to 7th and 8th grade students, ensuring lessons align with curriculum standards
• Planning and organizing engaging technology lessons and activities
• Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and adapting instruction as needed
• Participating in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning sessions
• Creating learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity, and responsible technology use
• Communicating effectively with students, parents, and fellow educators
