Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a PK-12th grade arts endorsement
- Background in general education and experience teaching visual and performing arts
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement curriculum across multiple grade levels
- Collaborative spirit and a commitment to fostering student achievement and well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in both visual and performing arts
- Assess student work, track progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages artistic expression
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning communities
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and upcoming events
