Position: General Education Teacher (5th Grade - ELA Focus)
Location: Rockford, IL

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (CSY)
An opportunity is available for a dedicated General Education Teacher to deliver quality instruction to two 5th grade classes with an emphasis on English Language Arts. This role is designed for educators who are committed to fostering student growth and engagement in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering effective lessons aligned with curriculum standards for 5th grade general education and ELA
- Assessing student progress and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Managing classroom behavior to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere
- Collaborating with faculty and participating in professional development initiatives
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in elementary education is required
- Experience teaching general education, specifically English Language Arts, is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
