A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced general education teacher specializing in English Language Arts, working with 5th grade students in a school setting. This role involves managing two classes and delivering engaging, standards-aligned ELA instruction to support student learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to 5th grade ELA curriculum
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in elementary education
- Strong foundation in general education with an emphasis on English Language Arts instruction
- Experience teaching elementary-level students and managing multiple classes
