In this contract position, youll play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of sports teams, ensuring athletes are equipped to perform at their best throughout the school year. Key Qualifications:
- Board certification as an athletic trainer is required
- Masters degree in Athletic Training or a related field
- Experience serving youth or school-age athletes preferred
- Knowledge of sport medicine protocols and Department of Health guidelines
- Ability to travel with athletic teams to state competitions as needed
- Eligible to complete a Bureau of Indian Education adjudication process (may extend onboarding by approximately one week)
- Must be comfortable working onsite full-time, up to 40 hours per week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver sport medicine support and injury prevention for school athletic teams
- Provide care and first response to sports injuries during practices and games
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health department and school standards
- Collaborate with coaches, staff, and healthcare professionals to support student-athletes
- Travel with teams to offsite competitions as necessary
