Key Requirements:
- Valid Wilson Level I Certification
- Background in general education or as a reading specialist
- Experience working with students facing reading disorders, particularly dyslexia
- Strong commitment to fostering student success and positive educational outcomes
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized reading instruction and intervention for students with dyslexia and related reading difficulties
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop effective reading support plans and accommodations
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure growth and remediation
- Create an engaging, supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and confidence
- Maintain accurate records, document intervention strategies, and communicate progress with education teams and families
