Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active Louisiana Teaching License/Certification with corresponding endorsements for General Education and ELA instruction
• Demonstrated experience teaching ELA or a closely related subject in a classroom setting
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
• Ability to cultivate engagement and deliver curriculum to diverse learners
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with fellow educators, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic, standards-aligned ELA instruction to students on a full-time basis
• Create, implement, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of multiple learning styles
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment conducive to growth
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance instructional practices and overall student success
• Maintain accurate records and participate in faculty meetings and professional development
