Inspire students and foster creativity as a full-time Art Teacher in the beautiful Painted Post, NY area. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in K-12 classrooms while working onsite in one of several potential neighboring communities in western New York. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid NY State Visual Arts Initial Certificate
- Experience teaching general education or art in school settings
- Flexibility to work onsite at confirmed locations in the Bath, Hornell, or Jasper-Troupsburg area
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young learners through art
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver dynamic art curriculum for a diverse student population
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity
- Assess and document student progress, adapting instruction to meet varying needs
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student success
- Engage in professional development as needed
