Key Qualifications:
- Valid LA DOE License required
- Experience working with high school students is highly preferred
- General Education Teacher background with a strong foundation in English subject matter
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to foster an inclusive and motivating classroom atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive English curriculum to high school students
- Create lesson plans that support diverse learning needs and prepare students for academic success
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and assessments to engage students actively in learning
