Preferred qualifications and desired experience:

  • Current Alabama Teachers Certification with an endorsement in Math
  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Ability to create a classroom atmosphere that encourages both academic and personal growth
  • Skilled in building effective rapport with students and fostering a motivational atmosphere
  • Comfortable integrating technology to enhance learning and keep students engaged
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in collaborating with parents and colleagues

Primary responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a positive, welcoming environment conducive to learning
  • Motivate students to develop foundational math skills, positive attitudes, and a lifelong love of learning
  • Utilize technological resources to maximize engagement and prepare students for success in an evolving world
  • Collaborate effectively with families, co-workers, and the broader school community
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by school leadership to support students and school initiatives
