This position involves instructing general education math classes at the high school level. You'll collaborate with dedicated staff members and engage students in developing their mathematical understanding and critical thinking skills. The school is seeking an experienced, licensed mathematics educator who can start as soon as possible and continue through May 27, 2027. The assignment is based on a 35-hour workweek, following the regular school calendar, Monday through Friday.

To thrive in this role, bring the following qualifications:

• Active, valid Louisiana Department of Education teaching certificate (a teaching authorization or temporary credentials will not fulfill requirements)
• Previous experience teaching high school mathematics is preferred
• Ability to adapt to various classrooms and grade levels as assignments are made
• Commitment to the full contract duration
• Strong relationship-building and classroom management skills
• Willingness to complete a district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting process
