A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced General Education Teacher to support elementary students in a K-12 school setting. This role is onsite and will provide a rewarding environment to positively impact young learners educational journeys throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction tailored to elementary grade levels
- Develop lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students
- Monitor and assess student progress to inform instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
Qualifications:
- Valid Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) teaching license
- Experience teaching general education in elementary grades preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Metairie, LA
- Full-time hours with a contract spanning the normal school year
