Key Qualifications:
- Valid Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) teaching license
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters preferred)
- Experience with elementary-aged students, including lesson planning and classroom management

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create, adapt, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards and tailored to diverse student needs
- Assess student progress through formal and informal methods, providing timely feedback and support
- Develop strategies to encourage active learning, engagement, and classroom participation
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to nurture each childs academic and personal growth
- Maintain accurate student records and prepare required documentation
- Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities
