Step into a vital role supporting 7th grade learners in a dynamic middle school environment. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a lasting impact through innovative math instruction. As a General Education Math Teacher, you'll engage students onsite with interactive lessons, facilitating academic growth and positive behavioral development. The position is scheduled for 35 hours per week, running from now through June 10, 2027, with shifts between 8:00 AM and 3:15 PM.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree required (needed for eligibility for an emergency teaching permit)
• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification or licensure appropriate for 7th grade math
• Previous school experience, particularly in urban environments
• Mastery of subject matter and instructional strategies for middle school mathematics
• Ability to design lessons aligned with state and district benchmarks, using data-driven approaches
• Comfortable managing behaviors and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom
• Reliable transportation to and from the onsite school
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required PA clearances
• Flexibility and resilience in a challenging, fast-paced educational setting

Responsibilities
