Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in ESL or related subject
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children in an educational setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging ESL instruction to elementary school students, adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress and tailor instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate ESL strategies into general education classrooms
• Communicate with families to support student learning and foster a welcoming school community
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Participate in meetings and professional development as required

This position follows a traditional school-day schedule, with hours from 8:20am to 3:50pm, providing a stable routine for both educators and students. Compensation for this rewarding role ranges from $38 to $40 per hour.
