Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an elementary education endorsement
- Previous experience teaching math at the elementary level preferred
- Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to build rapport with students and create a dynamic learning atmosphere
- Dedication to differentiated instruction and student-centered practices
Responsibilities:
- Deliver math lessons aligned with curriculum standards for 4th grade
- Use a variety of instructional approaches to reach students with diverse learning needs
- Monitor and assess students progress, providing regular feedback to encourage growth
- Communicate clearly and effectively with students, colleagues, and families
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and collaboration with other educators
