Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an elementary education endorsement
- Experience teaching math at the elementary level preferred
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for supporting diverse learners
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead 4th grade math instruction by designing and implementing lesson plans aligned to curriculum standards
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where students feel confident to participate and ask questions
- Assess student progress regularly, adapting instruction to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to enhance student success
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents and guardians
