Experience a rewarding contract opportunity supporting multilingual learners in an engaging elementary school setting near Liberty, MO. This role focuses on providing targeted English language development for students across grades K-5, who display a wide range of academic English proficiency levels. Youll help empower students as they progress on Missouris WIDA ACCESS scale and collaborate with educators to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri teaching license in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) or ELL (English Language Learners), covering grades K-12
• Prior experience teaching elementary-aged students, with a focus on English language acquisition
• Strong understanding of WIDA ACCESS assessment and proficiency standards
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching skillsespecially in supporting classroom teachers
• Compassionate approach to working with students from diverse backgrounds, including those who may also receive special education services

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide daily small-group and/or whole-class instruction to ELL students, typically working with at least one group per grade level, four days a week
• Use Wednesdays for essential program management tasks and classroom teacher coaching
• Assess, track, and report student progress according to the WIDA ACCESS test and other relevant measures
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to develop and adapt curriculum
• Foster a supportive learning atmosphere that helps all students build confidence and English language proficiency
