Desired Qualifications:
- Active Wilson Level I Certification
- Experience as a General Education Teacher, Reading Specialist, or similar educational role
- Familiarity supporting students with dyslexia and other reading-based learning differences
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based instruction using the Wilson Reading System to individuals or small groups
- Assess student needs and customize lesson plans to target specific reading difficulties
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating outcomes with staff and families
- Participate in team meetings to coordinate instructional strategies and share insights
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes confidence and learning
