Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana DOE Teaching Certificate (non-negotiable; temporary licenses not accepted)
- Secondary math teaching experience highly preferred
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to diverse learners
- Skilled in classroom management and student engagement at the high school level
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and timely documentation
- Successful completion of required district drug screening and fingerprints in addition to standard credentialing
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging math instruction aligned with state standards for high school students
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to meet diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance the educational experience
