Your primary responsibility will be teaching Math to high school students, following the curriculum while adapting lessons to support a range of learning styles. Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Louisiana Department of Education Teaching Certificate (DOE Cert) required; candidates must already hold this certificationtemporary or in-process licenses will not be considered.
• Previous experience teaching Math in a general education classroom, ideally at the high school level.
• Ability to promptly complete district-mandated credentialing, including a drug screen and fingerprint background check.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a dedication to student achievement.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based Math instruction to high school students, aligned with the school calendar.
• Design, implement, and adapt lesson plans to meet students diverse needs.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborate with fellow educators.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
