A full-time, onsite social work position in a high school setting is available in Kenner, LA, focusing on supporting general education students. The role involves working with high school students, primarily within the English subject area, to provide guidance and social-emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support high school students social and emotional well-being within the general education setting
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to address student needs and promote a positive learning environment
• Manage a caseload of students, providing individualized support services
• Utilize skills in school social work to identify and intervene in student challenges
• Participate in professional development and mentorship programs to enhance service delivery

Qualifications:

• Current Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) license in school social work
• Experience working with high school-aged students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work full-time onsite and manage a student caseload effectively
