Provide vital support to K-5 English Language Learners as an ESL/General Education teacher in a collaborative elementary environment. You'll work with a diverse group of over 30 students who span a range of academic English proficiency levels, supporting their language acquisition and academic success within a structured, well-resourced program.

In this role, youll facilitate small groups across grade levels four days each week, with Wednesdays dedicated to program management and partnering with classroom teachers for coaching. Students are monitored annually using the WIDA ACCESS test; some may also qualify for special education services, offering a multifaceted and fulfilling teaching experience.

Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri K-12 ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) or ELL (English Language Learners) certification required
• Experience or strong interest in teaching elementary English Language Learners
• Ability to differentiate instruction for varied English proficiency levels
• Willingness to collaborate with classroom teachers and support individualized education plans
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted English language instruction to small groups across multiple grade levels (K-5)
• Utilize assessment data, including WIDA ACCESS results, to guide instructional planning and monitor progress
• Coordinate with special education staff to meet additional student needs when required
• Engage in coaching and program management activities, including supporting other teachers
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state requirements for ELL programs
