Step into a dynamic educational role serving students in a full-time contract position as a General Education or ESL Teacher in the New Orleans area. This rewarding opportunity allows you to inspire and support students within a school environment, following the regular academic calendar. Youll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule35 hours each week, with 7-hour days and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in general education or ESL, and a passion for creating inclusive, engaging learning environments. You will have the chance to work with a diverse student population; specific caseloads and age groups will be determined based on school assignments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active Louisiana Department of Education Certification (DOE Cert) is requiredno Temporary Authority to Teach (TAT) accepted.
• Proven background in general education and/or ESL instruction.
• Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred.
• Flexibility to support varying caseloads and potentially multiple school assignments.
• Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including a drug screening and district fingerprint clearance in addition to standard requirements.
