Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active Louisiana DOE Certification required (Temporary Authority to Teach not accepted)
• Ready to begin immediatelymust already hold state licensure
• Experience teaching high school science in a general education setting strongly preferred
• Commitment to the entirety of the contract term
• Willingness to complete district-mandated drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to standard credentialing

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and standards-based science instruction to high school students
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and dynamic classroom atmosphere
• Develop lesson plans in alignment with curriculum objectives and district guidelines
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
