Required Qualifications:

• Valid and active Louisiana Department of Education teaching certificate in General Education Science (Temporary Authority to Teach certifications are not accepted)
• Proven ability to teach and manage high school-aged students
• Willingness and readiness to complete time-sensitive district credentialing, including drug screening and fingerprinting
• Previous classroom experience at the high school level preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
