Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Physics (required)
• Successful completion of Praxis II test #5266
• Valid South Carolina Educator Teaching Certification in Secondary Physics or Science with an AP endorsement (must be fully issued, not pending)
• Professional Certification Endorsement (30-hour training) strongly preferred; highly qualified candidates without this endorsement may still be considered
• Background in teaching Physics, preferably at the AP or advanced level
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Passion for working with high-performing students and maintaining a rigorous academic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach AP Physics and General Education Physics to high school students
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state and AP standards
• Contribute to the academic excellence and culture of a top-tier high school
• Assess student progress, provide clear feedback, and support individual learning needs
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development as required
• Complete all grading, curriculum planning, and parent communication with professionalism
