Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as both a General Education and ESL Teacher in a vibrant, innovative school setting. This contract position spans the academic year from mid-August through late May, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. Youll provide instruction and support at two school sites, guiding approximately 15 elementary and 10 secondary students as they grow in their academic and language skills.
What were looking for:
- Valid Wyoming General Education Teaching License required
- Experience as an ESL Teacher or with English Language Learners
- Proven ability to deliver engaging instruction in a multicultural learning environment
- Comfort and adaptability teaching at both elementary and secondary levels
- Collaborative spirit and commitment to making a positive impact
- Ability to work independently while integrating into school teams
- Willingness to comply with school-specific onboarding and fingerprinting requirements
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual student needs in both general education and ESL settings
- Developing creative learning strategies for diverse classroom groups
- Monitoring and reporting student progress toward academic and language goals
- Working closely with school staff, administrators, and families as partners in student success
- Participating in school meetings and professional development as needed
- Managing caseload expectations at both sites with dedication and flexibility
