Job Description

Step into a pivotal onsite role, supporting the daily operations of a vibrant K-8 public school community. As the Bilingual Office Manager, you'll ensure smooth front desk service and act as the first point of contact for students, families, and staff throughout the school day. Utilizing your strong organizational skills and fluency in both English and Spanish (Haitian Creole strongly valued), youll play a key part in shaping a positive and productive environment for children and families near Dorchester, MA.

Your schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, supporting the needs of K-8 students, families, and staff members.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required; Haitian Creole a significant plus
  • Admissions, enrollment, or registrar experience in a K-12 setting
  • Previous experience with DESE reporting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data management
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal communication, and a welcoming front desk presence
  • Ease with digital platforms such as Infinite Campus, ParentSquare, and related school systems

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, answer phones/emails, ensure front desk operations run smoothly
  • Maintain attendance, student records, dismissal logs, and communication with staff and families
  • Support food service operations including order management, audits, data tracking, and billing
  • Assist in admissions, student file maintenance, and update parent/family information
  • Coordinate facilities-related needs, reporting directly to the operations leadership
  • Use digital tools to manage communications, enrollments, and student data
