Step into an exciting opportunity for the upcoming school year as a bilingual educator! This full-time contract position spans from August 17, 2026, through June 2, 2027, focusing on teaching general education to junior high students. As a 6th-8th grade bilingual teacher, you'll deliver engaging instruction in both English and Spanish, incorporating computer science and other subjects in an inclusive classroom setting. Your passion for empowering adolescents will inspire growth, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Demonstrated teaching experience, especially in computer science
- Proficient in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Background in bilingual or dual-language education preferred
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working with students at the junior high school level
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction in general education and computer science to grades 6-8
- Create a supportive and culturally responsive classroom
